Initially established as Modern Carpets & Vinyls in 1988 as a small family business. Over the next 20 years it would grow from a small domestic shop into a well respected commercial house.

What is now known as Modern Commercial Floorcoverings had a change of ownership in 2010 when Tony May (now our General Manager) became part owner. He had previously successfully built and managed his own commercial flooring house for over 15 years, with nearly 40 years of hands on floorcoverings experience.

In November 2017 Modern Commercial Floorcoverings were acquired by Embelton, a publicly listed Australian owned family business with operations located in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia and South Australia.

We believe Modern Commercial Floor Coverings is one of the most experienced commercial flooring company’s in Australia. We install all types of floor coverings; including but not limited to Carpet, Carpet Tiles, Engineered Timber, Vinyl, Vinyl Planks, Mats and Rubber.

Our dedicated and driven sales team reputation has been built on a combined 70 years+ of commercial flooring experience. Initially installing floor coverings in Brisbane and now across the state our reputation speaks for itself.
